Welcome to the Ramageddon Robotics website! Ramageddon Robotics, FRC Team 4336, is Acadiana High School's robotics team. To date, we have participated in the FRC Bayou Regionals three times, the VEX Robotics State Qualifier competition two times, and the Red Stick Robotics VEX competition once; this time, we're preparing for our fourth appearance in the FRC Bayou Regionals.

Our team strives to inspire students at our school to not only learn about their future occupations, but to also have hands-on experience to gain the skills necessary for them.

The team was founded by Suzanne Prince and Philip Ryland, two of our teachers at Acadiana High. They are the heart and soul of Team 4336; without them, this team wouldn't even exist!

This Year's Game: Recycle Rush

RECYCLE RUSH is a recycling-themed game played by two Alliances, three robots for each. Robots score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping those stacks with recycling containers, and then properly disposing pool noodles, which represents litter. Keeping up with the recycling theme of the game, all of the game pieces used were reused or recycled by teams in their home locations or by FIRST at the end of the season.

Alliances earn additional points for recycling containers that were placed on the scored totes, with containers placed at greater heights earning more points. Alliances also earn points by disposing their litter in their Landfill Zone near the center of the field or placing litter in or on the scored recycling containers. Alliances that have left litter unprocessed on their side of the field and not in the scoring position by the end of the match will cause points to be added to the rival Alliance's score. Alliances have an opportunity to earn Coopertition points by coordinating with the other Alliance in the match. Coopertition points are awarded if, at some point in the match, there are at least four yellow totes on the step at the same time. Coopertition points are doubled if the Alliances arrange at least four of those yellow totes on the step in a single stack.
